What is Meshless?
Meshless turns your 3D models (.glb or .stl) into interactive 360° product viewers. We render your model to WebP image frames in the cloud, so visitors can spin it on any device — with no WebGL, no plugins, and no way to download the original file.
Can visitors or competitors download my 3D model?
No. The original file never leaves Meshless servers — it's AES-256 encrypted at rest, and the browser only ever receives flat WebP images. There is no mesh, geometry, or texture data to extract, even from DevTools.
Will a 3D viewer slow down my site?
The opposite, usually. The embed script is about 8 KB and the viewer shows a real image frame on first paint, so PageSpeed treats it like a fast-loading picture — not a 3D engine. Customers typically report LCP improving after switching from WebGL viewers.
Does it work with Shopify, WooCommerce, or a custom site?
Yes — anywhere you can paste HTML. The embed is two lines: a script tag and a div. No app installs, no build steps, no framework requirements. A React component and JavaScript SDK are also available.
What file formats do you support?
.glb and .stl today. Upload either and Meshless handles rendering, optimization, and delivery — you never need to convert or compress anything yourself.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. The Hobby plan is free forever — 5 active models, 25,000 views a month, and CDN delivery included. No credit card required to start.
Billing & plans
What counts as an 'active model'?
Any model you've uploaded and encoded that can be embedded on a live page. Archived or deleted models don't count toward your limit. You can swap models freely — only the ones currently enabled count.
Does the .glb ever touch Meshless servers?
Yes — but only encrypted. Your file is AES-256 encrypted in the browser before upload. The unwrap key is split: half stays client-side with the embed token, half stays on our side. Neither half alone decrypts the file. Even if our storage were compromised, geometry would be unreadable.
Can I change plans mid-cycle?
Yes. Upgrades are prorated immediately — you only pay for the remaining days. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period. You keep all your encoded frames either way; only the model limit changes.
What happens if I exceed my model limit?
You'll get an in-dashboard warning at 80% usage. If you hit the limit, new uploads are paused but existing embeds keep working. You can archive old models or upgrade to continue uploading.
Do you offer a Shopify-specific plan?
Not yet.
Is there a self-hosted or on-premises option?
Not yet. On-premises is on the Enterprise roadmap for 2026. If that's a hard requirement today, reach out and we'll tell you where it stands.
What's your uptime SLA?
Hobby and Growth have no SLA — but we publish live status at status.meshless.io and historically run at 99.94%. Pro gets a 99.2% SLA. Enterprise Starter gets 99.99%. Enterprise Scale and Custom get a negotiated SLA up to 99.99% with financial credits.
