The story
The problem with 3D on the web
3D product viewing has been broken for a decade. You either ship a WebGL viewer that bricks your PageSpeed score, or a hosted embed that exposes your mesh to anyone with DevTools open. Neither option is acceptable when you care about both performance and intellectual property.
The Meshless answer
Encode models to WebP image sequences at upload time. Serve them from a CDN. Let the browser spin them without a single triangle ever leaving the client. No WebGL runtime, no exposed mesh, no PageSpeed regression — just a viewer that looks like a video and performs like a static image.
How we think
Performance is a feature
We optimize for LCP first. An average Meshless integration cuts LCP by 61%. We'd rather lose a customer than recommend a solution that makes their site slower.
Security by default
Your mesh is your IP. Meshless fragments and encrypts frame sequences so that even a determined attacker inspecting network traffic gets nothing usable.
Developer experience matters
Every API endpoint, SDK method, and dashboard action should be self-explanatory. We write the docs we'd want to read, and we ship keyboard shortcuts because terminals don't have mice.
How we got here
The moment of frustration
Lena's team watched a competitor download their entire product GLB library via DevTools during a competitor analysis. The clock started ticking.
First proof of concept
Marco prototyped the WebP frame encoder in a weekend. LCP dropped from 2.4s to 0.9s on the first test product. That was enough to quit their jobs.
